When we bought our cottage in 2013, it was impossible to know that our floating dock aligns perfectly with the Milky Way.
My first astro photo in the frigid -40C winter air of January 2014 got me hooked. Since then, I’ve learned how to anticipate the lunar cycle, plan for Astronomical Twilight, and apply the myriad of camera settings that reveal celestial phenomena.
