Since 2013, I’ve been exploring Georgian Bay near Franklin Island in a sea kayak, ready to be surprised by eagles, ospreys, bears, deer, loons, otters, foxes, minks, terns, herons, and looking for that special quality of light, while making sure I can see a glint in their eyes.
